Dr. Bene is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Mohs College fellowship-trained skin cancer specialist and dermatologic surgeon who, with her dedicated staff, is committed to provide the highest quality care for her patients.
Dr. Bene is also fellowship trained in Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology and offers advanced treatments for facial rejuvenation, vascular and pigmented lesions, varicose and spider veins, Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport for wrinkles, Botox® Therapeutic for hyperhydrosis, Juvederm, Restylane and Radiesse fillers for wrinkles and facial volume correction, and other newest cosmetic procedures.
After graduation from Boston University School of Medicine with high honors, she completed her internship in medicine and surgery at Newton-Wellesley hospital affiliated withs Tufts University Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and her dermatology residency at the State University of New York/Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.
Dr. Bene continued her advanced training as a fellow in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology and reconstructve surgery with Dr. Brett Coldiron at the Skin Cancer Center in Cincinnati and as a fellow in laser surgery, cosmetic dermatology and phlebology with Dr. Robert Weiss at Maryland Laser, Skin & Vein Institute in Baltimore.
Dr. Bene has written numerous research articles and has lectured nationally about advances in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Bene is a Diplomate of American Board of Dermatology. She is a Fellow of American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She has extensive experience in the latest cosmetic skin enhancement procedures.
